The Sony XDCAM Drive Software for MAC OS X only supports Intel based Macs.XDCAM camcorder and deck users should make sure that they are running the most current versions of deck and camcorder firmware available on this web page to maintain compatibility with discs created by drives running VFAM 3.0. Download QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 QuickTime Player 7 supports older media formats, such as QTVR, interactive QuickTime movies, and MIDI files. It also accepts QuickTime 7 Pro registration codes, which turn on QuickTime Pro functions. All QuickTime codecs, as far as I know, are 32-bit. If you have a movie encoded using an old and orphaned 32-bit codec, then there are two options to rescue it: you can transcode it using the existing 32-bit codec into a format that is still supported, or you can rewrite the whole codec in 64-bit code.

Without a Software License, Calibrated{Q} XD Decode will run in DEMO MODE where a Calibrated{Q} XD Decode Logo watermark will be placed over the video. This is the only DEMO MODE limitation, everything else is fully functional. Using the software in DEMO MODE is for testing only, and should not be used for commercial purposes. To remove the DEMO MODE watermark, purchase a Software License for Calibrated{Q} XD Decode in our Online Store here.
